One of the most incredible archaeological discoveries in the world was the unearthing of China’s Terracotta Warriors.
This year, a collection of the Warriors is being brought to Melbourne for the National Gallery of Victoria’s Winter Masterpieces series.
For just this short time you’ll have the opportunity to see these incredible pieces of China’s history without having to travel to China. The National Gallery of Victoria is showcasing a small collection of the Warriors, including eight Warriors, two life-sized
horses from the Imperial Army, plus two half-size replica bronze chariots, each drawn by four horses. In addition, Chinese museums are lending 150 artefacts to be included in the exhibition, and there is a parallel exhibition from prominent Chinese contemporary artist, Cai Guo-Qiang.
We will be travelling from May 24th to the 28th. Take a look at the detailed itinerary by clicking here. I hope you can join us for this very special opportunity!
