Based in Mount Gambier, this tour has been carefully planned to experience the best this area has to offer, at the very best time to be there. After all, we want to make sure we’re here when the famous Blue Lake is actually blue! If you haven’t seen this amazing lake in its volcanic crater, you’ll be astonished by how blue the water is in the warmer months – and it has nothing to do with the colour of the sky.
The coastline here is incredibly rugged and beautiful. The limestone structure of the region produces a spectacular coast – we visit Port MacDonnell and nearby Cape Northumberland – SA’s most southerly point. We also tour around to Carpenters Rocks.
But there’s more to this area than its water features. We also spend a day a little inland, discovering the pine forests and timber industry, the grapes and wine of the area, plus the cultural heritage as well.
This tour travels from the 11th to the 14th of November. Come along and experience a fabulous time in southern SA! Call the office now to register your interest.
