Monica, the kids and I visited Monarto Zoo earlier this year, and were surprised by how much it has improved and developed. The tour around the Zoo is fabulous (for our tour, we use our own coach and have a Monarto Zoo guide on board), there is a huge amount to see, and some of the new exhibits are incredible.

Last time we did this tour we offered some optional extras. For example, some people chose to do a special giraffe experience. Some chose to do the Lions 360 experience, where you enter a special cage that the lions can climb all over. Some people chose to even feed the lions! These options are at extra cost, but add another dimension to your trip. Those people who don’t choose one of the extras still get the full zoo tour, plus time to spend watching the meerkats and the chimpanzees.

Of course there’s more to this overnight trip than Monarto: we stay at Mannum for the night, take a cruise on the Murray, and more!

Monarto is proving to be an ever-popular tour that books out quickly. So if you would like to join our next trip, on the 2nd and 3rd of September, please get in touch as soon as possible. You can see the detailed itinerary by clicking here.
