Over the last four years, our tours to join the Pichi Richi train have been incredibly popular, and either booked out or almost booked out.

The Pichi Richi train has a wonderful heritage. This train runs on the original route of the old Ghan train, and uses some of the original rolling stock too. The run from Port Augusta to Quorn is a picturesque trip – through the Pichi Richi Pass. You’ll love the surrounding views as you travel, with the atmosphere that only a steam train can provide. And the great thing about this trip is that we get to enjoy it in both directions!

As well as spending a day enjoying the fabulous Pichi Richi Railway, we also explore the area by bus. This gives a different perspective to the train journey, as well as allowing us to take in places away from the railway.

It is very likely that this trip will book out too, so I would recommend getting in immediately to make sure you don’t miss out.

Our Adelaide departure travels from September 2 to 5 and our South Coast departure travels from October 6 to 9.
