A Birdie Told Me
Fun on the Fleurieu.
One of the most beautiful areas close to Adelaide is the Fleurieu Peninsula, and that’s where we are heading in April.
Today we head south through rolling hills to Normanville. With a relatively cool summer and a little rain in autumn, it’s interesting how much green there is in the countryside already.
In Normanville is a special place called A Birdie Told Me. This store is a collective for lots of local people to show and sell their craft work and art pieces. Over 80 different people have joined together to share the cost of running a shop, and display their amazing variety of work – all created by people from the area. This incredible range is great to browse through. If you need to pick up a gift for someone, this is the perfect place to find something completely different, special and unique.
After our visit we have a very short distance to travel to lunch – just across the road! We’ll enjoy a delicious and hearty lunch at the Normanville Hotel.
This afternoon we head off on the back roads, exploring the magnificent scenery that the Fleurieu offers.
Come with us and enjoy a day packed with superb scenery!
