A Dream Day
Art, culture, friends and fabulous views.
We have something a little extra special this month!
In the north of Adelaide is a wonderful cultural centre that was established by Aboriginal women from communities around Australia. Marra Dreaming is a centre where Aboriginal people can show their artwork, but it’s much more than just a gallery. It’s a meeting place where community – like us – can gather to experience and explore the Aboriginal culture.
Our hosts at Marra Dreaming are friendly, warm and welcoming, and this is a great opportunity to connect with the culture and people of Australia’s Indigenous community. We can browse the magnificent art works, chat with the ladies and gain a better understanding of one of the oldest cultures in the world – it’s a delightful and interactive visit. During our time here we also enjoy morning tea provided by our hosts.
After this special time we depart and head the short distance into the Adelaide hills. There are views back over to the coast as we make our way to lunch at One Tree Hill. This afternoon there is a wealth of beautiful roads to choose as we travel through the hills.
This is going to be one of the stand-out tours of our year! Don’t miss out!
