Special Cruise to the Murray Mouth.

Cost: $145

With the high water flows through-out the Murray-Darling basin, this is a spectacular time to see the river. As the floodwaters descend to the river’s-end, this exceptional flow creates a boon for birds and wildlife. We partner with one of our favourite cruise operators, Spirit Australia to see the mouth during this exceptional event. We cruise down stream from Goolwa to the barrage and pass by Australia’s largest freshwater marina on Hindmarsh Island. There’s plenty of time to spot the lazy fur-seals lounging about. We meander along the waterways of the iconic Coorong, following the last kilometres of the mighty River to the Murray Mouth and its opening to the Southern Ocean. As we cruise, a light lunch is enjoyed on-board.

Please note: This tour is a little different to our regular day tours due to the later start in January and the limited cruising days available. Therefore, if you are a regular traveller, your normal day tour is most likely to be in a different week but could also be on a different day to normal. To make sure we meet the lock times on our cruise we may also need to depart Adelaide a little earlier than usual. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
