Water and Chocolate
We’re off to Vineyard Road
Everyone knows the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale wine regions. A different wine region is becoming better known: Langhorne Creek. It’s probably about time, given that wine has been made here for a very long time.
Langhorne Creek is famous for its rich, alluvial soil, laid down over centuries when the Bremer River floods. It makes it perfect for growing grapes, so it makes sense that today we are visiting a winery. Vineyard Road is passionate about growing the finest grapes, however, our visit isn’t actually about the wine. It’s the chocolate…
Vineyard Road cellar door also provides chocolate tastings of Fleurieu Chocolate, so we’ve arranged for a special tasting for you. Of course, there is the opportunity to purchase wine and chocolate if you wish. They even have a range of beautiful skincare products available.
Afterwards, we’re off to Lake Alexandrina. Our lunch is at the Milang Hotel where we’ll enjoy a delicious two course lunch.
In the afternoon we’ll take a look at the area close to the lake before making our way back through the hills towards home.
This will be a great way to enjoy fun with a group of friendly people this June!
