Tour Description
Barossa Gourmet in Spring
A very tasty tour
Cost: $121
The Barossa is well known for its quality wines, but it is also developing a reputation for great food and gourmet produce as well.
Today we visit an old favourite that has undergone some transformations. Maggie Beer is not just a local identity, but a much-loved Australian icon. Over the years, her farm shop has grown considerably, and we stop in to sample some of her huge product range. You will also receive a $10 voucher to spend at the farm shop.
From here we journey to Angaston to stop at Gully Gardens. The Steicke family have a long history in fruit growing and today we taste their delicious dried fruits and handmade confectionary.
After lunch at a local venue, dessert will be enjoyed at the Barossa Valley Ice Cream Company. Julie and Les pride themselves on using local product including cream from Greenock, juice from the Riverland and strawberries from the Adelaide Hills. With a mix of traditional and unique flavours, you are sure to find a flavour you will love. Celebrate Spring and join us on this tasty tour through the Barossa.
