Few places are as varied and spectacular as Tasmania – rainforest, open farmland, mountains, broad plains, rugged bushland, sandy beaches and blue seas: it’s all there, and remarkably close together. Our nine day tour of the east coast brings together this incredible variety. We fly into Hobart, Tasmania’s capital. We explore in and around Hobart, plus take a day to visit the incredible heritage of Port Arthur. On our way to Launceston we discover Richmond, with its delightful streetscape and gorgeous bridge – built by convicts, it’s Australia’s oldest stone arch bridge.

The east coast is also well known for its stunning views and locations – Wineglass Bay, pictured above, is known worldwide for its beauty, and we explore this with a wonderful cruise. The small towns of Bicheno, Swansea and St Helens are all gorgeous and charming. We also wander in and around Launceston, before catching the Spirit of Tasmania ferry to travel home.

What have I missed? Well, there’s Eaglehawk Neck, Spiky Bridge, Tasmanian Devils at East Coast Nature World, Coles Bay, the Legerwood sculptures,  Bridestowe Lavender Estate, Seahorse World – and lots more!

This tour travels from the 16th to the 24th of February so there’s not much time left to secure your spot. It won’t be long before we need to release the spare flights and accommodation, and once we do they can be hard to get back! So please call soon – we’d love to have you along!
