Day Two – TUESDAY 30 JULY 2024

Our morning begins at the resort with a nourishing breakfast, setting the stage for an exciting day ahead.

Our journey today leads us to the Sealife Sunshine Coast Aquarium, a sanctuary where the ocean’s heart beats strong and the mysteries of the deep are revealed. This immersive experience starts with a guided tour that brings us face-to-face with the vibrant spectacle of marine life. From the dazzling dance of tropical fish among vivid coral reefs to the majestic glide of sea turtles through blue waters, each exhibit tells a story of conservation and wonder. We have our lunch today at the Aquarium’s Café.

The afternoon grants us opportunity to enjoy some free time in Mooloolaba, a gem along the Sunshine Coast. This picturesque town offers a vibrant mix of experiences, from relaxing on the soft, golden sands of Mooloolaba Beach to exploring the bustling esplanade filled with cafes and shops.

As the day draws to a close, we reconvene at the resort for dinner, sharing stories of aquatic adventures and the tranquil beauty discovered both beneath the waves and along the sun-drenched shores of Noosa.

Day Three – WEDNESDAY 31 JULY 2024

The day starts with breakfast at the resort, energizing us for the adventures that lie ahead.

First on the agenda is the Eumundi Markets, a vibrant testament to local craftsmanship and creativity. Wander among stalls where artisans showcase their unique creations, and savour a freshly brewed coffee and a snack, immersing yourself in the market’s lively spirit.

Next, we journey to the Yandina Ginger Factory. This visit begins with a guided tour that uncovers the fascinating process of transforming ginger from root to a variety of delicacies, including a memorable ride on the ginger train through picturesque gardens. Lunch here is an aromatic affair, surrounded by the invigorating scent of ginger, enhancing the culinary experience.

Our day’s exploration extends to Nutworks and the Chocolate Factory, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the artistry behind beloved nut and chocolate confections. This visit promises not only insight into the meticulous process of confectionery making but also a taste of the delicious outcomes.

Day Four – THURSDAY 1 AUGUST 2024

Today’s excursion leads us into the Sunshine Coast hinterland, once cloaked in dense sub-tropical rainforests and majestic hardwood trees. Despite the transformative logging of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, remnants like the Mary Cairncross Reserve endure, offering a 130-acre window into the area’s rich ecological past. Entrusted to the Caloundra City Council, the reserve is a sanctuary for diverse wildlife, embodying the lush rainforest that predated European settlement. Our visit, enriched with the history of this conservation gem, is complemented by a leisurely walk amidst the soothing sounds and sights of the preserved rainforest. Enhancing this experience, morning tea at the Mountain View Cafe presents us with stunning panoramas of the iconic Glass House Mountains, serving as a tranquil backdrop.

After departing the reserve, we continue to Montville, a small hinterland village with lots of character. We take our time on the drive, as many lookouts offer fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Once a logging community, Montville has become a popular spot for tourists and is appreciated for its many different architectural styles, charming shops and quaint village atmosphere.

We are treated to lunch today at Secrets on the Lake Montville. Nestled amidst breathtaking scenery, this venue provides stunning views. We have some free time after lunch, to wander the village.

Our day’s journey is sweetened by a visit to The Big Pineapple, a delightful nod to the region’s agricultural heritage. This iconic attraction offers us a playful yet insightful exploration of the Sunshine Coast’s farming legacy.

As the day winds down, we return to the resort, our hearts enriched by the day’s encounters. The evening’s dinner at the resort offers a perfect moment to share our stories and relive the memorable experiences.

Day Five – FRIDAY 2 AUGUST 2024

This morning after breakfast, our adventure takes us into the heart of the hinterland, towards the enchanting Beerwah area of the Glass House Mountains. The journey itself is a visual delight, with scenic roads unveiling stunning vistas at every turn.

Our destination is the renowned Australia Zoo, a place of wonder that began its journey as the Beerwah Reptile Park in 1970 and has since evolved into Queensland’s flagship wildlife sanctuary under the passionate stewardship of the late Steve Irwin, the ‘Crocodile Hunter.’ Steve’s vision was to create the world’s foremost wildlife conservation facility, a legacy that lives on vibrantly in the 1500-acre haven that Australia Zoo has become. Home to over 88 species, the zoo offers an immersive experience into the world of wildlife, with engaging displays and a schedule brimming with
educational shows. We’ll have ample time to explore, learn, and be inspired by the dedication to conservation and the incredible array of animals that make their home here.

After an incredible day at the zoo, we return to the resort for dinner.

Day Six – SATURDAY 3 AUGUST 2024

Following a delightful breakfast at the resort, the morning unfolds at your leisure in the enchanting town of Noosa. The allure of Hastings Street, with its unique boutiques, invites a shopping adventure, while the tranquil shores of Noosa Beach offer a peaceful retreat to soak up the sun and sea.

As the day progresses, we embark on a Noosa River and Canal Cruise, a journey that not only includes a scrumptious lunch onboard but also unveils the breathtaking beauty of Noosa’s waterways and wildlife. Glide through the serene landscapes, capturing the essence of Noosa’s picturesque setting, an experience that harmoniously blends relaxation with the awe of nature’s artistry. We will also pass the mouth of the river and view the spectacular waterfront homes of “Millionaires Row” along Noosa Sound.

The afternoon grants us the liberty to soak in the charm of Noosa. We have the opportunity to take a scenic drive of the area, winding past the vibrant greenery of the Noosa National Park and along the pristine shores of Noosa Main Beach. This journey offers panoramic views of the coastline, glimpses of hidden bays, and the chance to spot local wildlife in their natural habitat.

The evening sees us returning to the warmth of the resort, where a sumptuous dinner awaits. It’s a time to gather, share stories of the day’s discoveries and enjoy our last night together on tour.

Day Seven – SUNDAY 4 AUGUST 2024

The final morning of our Sunshine Coast journey begins with a breakfast at the resort, a moment to reflect on the adventures and connections we’ve made. With bags packed and spirits high, our Endeavour Tours driver facilitates a smooth transfer to Brisbane Airport. Before departing, we will enjoy our lunch at the airport.

Upon arrival in Adelaide, an Endeavour Tours representative will be waiting to assist with any needs, ensuring a warm welcome back. From Adelaide Airport, you will be chauffeured home, concluding our journey with the comfort and care that has characterised the entire tour.
